May Bank Holiday Chaos

Rail Users Ireland, Ireland's National Rail Users Organisation has learnt that on Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th of May services from Heuston will heavily disrupted. Cherryville Junction to Portlaoise will be closed to allow for work at Portarlington to allow longer platforms and to replace track.

There is no notice on the Iarnród Éireann website nor was it contained in the newsletter we received by email this morning. At least 4 weeks notice should have been given. Please note this is not the full list of changes, there may be others. We will update this page as further information comes to hand.
